SCUBA DIVING- Description
After you’ve been introduced to your dive master you will be handed your diving mask, fins, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and a 3mm wetsuit in your size. You will be guided by a fully certified PADI dive master with an additional captain operating the boat. Between dives you will enjoy a light lunch provided either on deck or on a nearby island. Scuba Diving in Costa Rica is best done on the Pacific coast. Even though the waters are as warm as on the Caribbean side (24˚C-29˚C or 75˚F-85˚F), it’s a lot richer in marine life and geographical beauty. Due tonumerous small islands of the coast providing the choice of different dive sites, your dive master will pick the best one according to your experience, preferences and local conditions. Expect to see schools of Snapper, Jacks and Barracuda,White Tip Reef Sharks, various rays, sea turtles, Angel, Parrot and Puffer Fish, Octopus, Eels and Crustaceans. You will also see volcanic rock formations with many varieties of hard and soft corals. Visibility ranges between 25 and 70 feet.
