Buena Vista

Hotel Buena Vista offers a picturesque mountain setting, yet a convenient location only 15 minutes from the San José International Airport and 30 minutes from Poás Volcano National Park. The atmosphere is that of relaxed tranquility at an altitude of 4185 feet above the noise and distractions of the city. Neither heat nor air conditioning is required.

The hotel was built in a Spanish Colonial style, and features breathtaking views of the central valley with San José, as well volcanoes Irazú, Barva, Poás and surrounding coffee plantations. All are laid out before you.

Buena Vista houses a total of 15 rooms all of which have 2 queen size beds, Cable TV, and are carpeted. Rooms on the 2nd floor have balconies.

The fine dining Quetzal Restaurant serves international and local cuisine at reasonable prices.

The hotel also offers a bar, heated swimming pool, laundry service, and gift shop. Guests desiring transportation are met at the airport and escorted to the hotel. Transportation is also provided courtesy of the hotel for departing guests. Luggage storage is available for those wishing to leave baggage while traveling to other points. A fine tropical breakfast is included in the room price.
