Mirador Lodge

This unique and remote location might very well feature one of the most breathtaking views in Costa Rica. Located in Monteverde, in the very spine of the continental divide, the lodge features the exuberant cloud forest setting that characterizes the area plus a an amazing view of the Arenal volcano and Arenal Lake in the foreground. As is the view is not sufficient, in clear nights, it will be possible to observe the volcanic activity of Arenal.

If you love nature and like to conserve it, this is your place. The lodge has an extensive private reserve with primitive trails, generates its own electricity, uses water from nearby mountain springs and operates as a working farm.

The Mirador, as the locals call is, only has 15 cozy cabins, but all with panoramic views of the Arenal Lake and the Arenal volcano. All rooms are standard, mostly for 2 people but some can house up to 4 guests. The property also feature a well priced traditional Costa Rican Restaurant and bar.
