The ‘Stable’ is not for everyone. If you like a cozy and family oriented jungle style lodge with mere intimacy, then skip this one. If instead, you like all luxury with trained staff, great rooms with the best views and diner ‘a la carte’ with a wide selection of wines, then MrTico definitely suggests El Establo. It’s massive, with multiple buildings on a vast mountain range, overlooking all of Monteverde up to the Nicoya Peninsula bay. It offers beautiful gardens and ponds, multiple swimming pools and restaurants, Spa, canopy zip lines, bars and friendly and professional staff.

From Deluxe rooms to Honeymoon Suites; it’s up to you how big and comfortable you want your stay to be. No matter your preferences, all rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, flat screen TV, refrigerator, luxury bathrooms and balcony with a view.

Multiple restaurants. You’ll find a more common restaurant at the bottom of the premises and a luxury restaurant at almost the top, meaning spectacular views. Expect the best food in town, since the standards are set high.
