Trapp Family Lodge

This hotel is located very close to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and is therefore surrounded by a thick layer of jungle trees itself. Expect intimacy and coziness due to the wooden design of the hotel and rooms. The superior rooms are found in the main building; where as a separate building higher up the premises holds the mountain suites. Sitting areas are to be found all over the well maintained gardens.

All rooms are spacious and provide great views of the cloud forest. They are equipped with two queen size beds, private bathroom with hot water and a hair dryer. The feel, touch and looks of the rooms make you want to stay in all day to enjoy the coziness.

The restaurant next to the reception area is large enough to serve all guests and small enough to still keep the family style environment. You’ll find diner ‘a la carte’ with a respectable selection of wines; all reasonably priced. The small bar keeps a selection of the finest liquors and fruit juices.
