Villa Alegre

Villa Alegre is a classic Spanish-style beachfront B&B built located in Playa Langosta, just south of the popular beach town of Tamarindo, Guanacaste’s (North Pacific Province) popular beach destination. Built and operated by an adventurous California couple, the beach front villa provides a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere within a tropical landscape.

The B&B features Villas and standard rooms (guest rooms), all have private patios, air-conditioning and a safety deposit box. Comfortable furnishings, king, queen and twin beds are there for the choosing, plus well-appointed, tiled and decorated bathrooms. The Villas each have a private entrance, large patio and spacious living/dining area and are all furnished in perfect taste.  A fully equipped kitchenette with electrical appliances contains everything needed to cook and serve a full dinner. Homes away from home, they are suitable for a short or long stay.

The B & B´s common areas like the pool, comfy lounge corner, fan-cooled rancho and veranda and activities such as horseshoes, shuffle board and a guest lounge with its library and collection of games, encourage guests to hang out and relax in this tranquil tropical setting. It is also important to mention that Villa Alegre’s gourmet breakfasts are served on the spacious veranda with an ocean view.

Only a minute’s walk away, the white sand beach that extends in both directions and is perfect for relaxing, sun bathing or taking strolls while the ocean will captivate surfers, boogie boarders and swimmers to find just the right wave or location to indulge in their favorite sports. Villa Alegre is also only a short walk to excellent restaurants and shopping.
