Guayabo Lodge

Overlooking the Turrialba Valley, with the magnificent Turrialba Volcano in the background, the airy lodge is located 1500 meters above sea level in a lush grassland and cloud forest environment

Guayabo offers guests single, double, triple and family rooms (quadruple), each room uniquely decorated. All rooms are furnished with unique Central and South American art and exquisite antique furniture. Each has a modern bathroom with abundant hot water generated by solar panels, and the rooms on the second and third floors have balconies with panoramic views. The breathtaking mountain views include the Cerro Chirripo and the Cerro de la Muerte to the east and the Turrialba Valley and the Talamanca Mountain Range to the south.

The cuisine at the Lodge is prepared only with the freshest locally-produced fruits, vegetables and cheese. Each morning juices are squeezed from a variety of fresh fruits, bread is purchased from the local bakery and world-renowned Costa Rican coffee is served. A memorable "muy rico" completely homemade dinner will be prepared for you if on previous request, or you may drive to one of many nearby quaint restaurants serving savory local dishes.
