Day 1. Welcome to Costa Rica! A MrTico representative will greet you at the International airport (SJO).From there you will have a private transfer to the Capital City, San José where you will stay at a great San Jose hotel.

Day 2. On this day you have your GPS equipped rental vehicle delivered to your hotel. (Daihatsu Bego 4x4 with full insurance). Start your adventure by heading north and then west to La Fortuna, the area of Arenal Volcano. At night you’ll enjoy thermal pools.

Upon arrival you will be checking in at one of the area's best hotels with excellent volcano views. Arenal Volcano is one of the most active and beautiful volcanoes in the world.
Around 5:00 pm you’ll be expected at one of the area's famous hot springs (10 minutes from hotel). There you will have the entrance fee and dinner buffet included.

Day 3. Start your day with a fantastic nature float trip on the Peñas Blancas River. Enjoy the abundant wildlife surrounding this rainforest lined river, where you can easily spot monkeys, birds, iguanas, sloth sand other local residents.

You can take advantage of the stealthy rafts gently moving down this slow paced river to constantly be on the lookout for interesting wildlife your guide will help you spot! After this adventure you will be transported back to your hotel.

Day 4. On this day you will drive to reach the Cloud Forests of Monteverde. Cloud forests are a particular type of tropical rainforest that occurs at specific tropical mountain areas and constitute unique ecosystems. Take advantage of your early arrival to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve on your own to explore the beautiful flora and its birds.

Day 5. Start your day with an adventure on the Sky Tram and Sky Walk. The Sky Tram provides a one of kind experience of aerial travel through and above the cloud forests of Monteverde as well as the breathtaking views of the golf of Nicoya.

Upon arriving to the location, board a slow paced gondola and ride smoothly up to a wide observation deck at the highest point in the private reserve. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely nature hike on the Sky Walk , a system of elevated walkways and bridges through and above the cloud forest canopy. You will have the afternoon free. We recommend you venture to Monteverde Town or the Santa Elena Cloud forest Reserve.

Day 6. On this day you will drive to Manuel Antonio on the Pacific Coast; famous for the most visited National Park in the country. In addition, Manuel Antonio is home to many of the nicest resorts and restaurants offering breathtaking views. There you will check in at one of the area's best and most scenic hotels, with great ocean view from your room.

Day 7. Sail the Tom Cat or the Spanish Dancer. Come aboard and see the many doplphins, whales (in season), sea turtles, and birds of the Manuel Antonio Marine Preserve. Enjoy a feast of fresh fruits, grilled fish, brochettes, pasta salad, drinks and the finest hospitality. Go snorkeling at on of the offshore islands!

Dolphins will play in the wake as you sail silently through the blue pacific waters. The rushing of wind and waves are frequently interrupted by the splash of dolphins and whales coming near for a closer look. Stop for a leisurely swim at one of the white sand beaches and dive on the underwater reefs of the Manuel Antonio Marine Preserve. A swim and snorkeling break offers a perfect complement to the warm sunny days. Many different kinds of reef fishes are seen while enjoying the cool waters. Several species of sea turtles frequent the waters of the Marine Preserve (a delicious meal is also included. At the end of this amazing tour, you will be taken back to your hotel for perhaps a cocktail at the pool.

Day 8. This will be a free day at the beach. We recommend you visit the beautiful Manuel Antonio national park, famous for its Titi monkeys, which are present only in the central and south pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Day 9. Today has been designated as your departure day, you will drive your vehicle to the International airport in San Jose where your “drop off” has been arranged.
