HORSEBACK RIDING- Tour description
No matter what environment you will be riding in, all our offered tours include well trained horses, proper saddles, helmets and professional and experienced guides. You will be riding on well set out trails in an environment that continuously make you want to stop to take out your camera due to picture perfect settings.
If you don’t have specific wishes on where to ride, MrTico will happily recommend you with our own favorite place far out in the country side. You will be spending the night on this family owned horse farm where they will proudly serve you with diner prepared with home grown ingredients. They even have their own fish pond.

Costa Rica is a horseback riding country, in the true meaning of the word. Tico’s go to work and to the pub by horse, they dance on the streets and train horses in front of their houses. Different events around the country take place every Sunday like “Gabalgatas” and “Topes”. Every little town organizes their own gabalgata where hundreds of horsemen and horsewomen gather to ride through forests, fields, rivers and on gravel roads. Horseback riding in Costa Rica is big!
