Hanging Bridges- Tour Description
This activity includes entrance to the Hanging Bridges Nature Reserve and your naturalist guide who will take you through this fascinating and colorful tropical mountainous rain forest. In addition to teaching you about the natural history, your guide will point out tropical birds, butterflies, and insects and will tell you all about the encountered flowers, plants and trees. During your tour you will be experiencing the Tarzan feeling on the many hanging bridges. The bridges are connected by beautiful and safe hiking trails leading through the best parts of the nature reserve, including views of the Arenal volcano and a picture perfect waterfall.

We like to call this activity the Tarzan feeling. Run down the bridges from tree to tree and imagine you’re holding on to a long vine, just like Tarzan himself. Call out “JAAAANE” and you will hear the wildlife respond. The green and wet environment of the primary rain forest will add to your imagination of saving Jane from the jaguar. Please note that taking of your shirt to copy Tarzan’s dress code will motivate your guide to take a picture for website placement.

Hanging Bridges through primary rain forests evolved from the idea of combining tourism and nature in the most ecological and sustainable way possible. The bridges are integrated in such way that the flora & fauna have the least amount of distress. This way you will experience a great biological diversity with an incomparable scenic splendor.
