Dolphins and Whales Watching - Tour Description
Early morning you will meet your guide who will drive you in a comfortable van to the input of the river, where your covered boat awaits you. From there you will reach the open sea through the mangrove swamps of the river. The search for dolphins and whales will start so keep your eyes open and camera ready! Don’t blame us if some sea turtles show up, too. When the time is right, you will land on a nearby beach for a delicious picnic lunch. In addition to your marine life encounters, you will constantly be treated with magnificent views of the coast line and islands. Not only wildlife living on land values the Costa Rican living standards. Our coastal waters are filled with marine life enjoying the Pura Vida, too. Some of them often take a peak above the waterline to communicate with people in little boats. Imagine being surrounded by smiling dolphins and in the background a Humpback mother whale, proudly showing her baby. Suddenly the daddy jumps out of the water to make an impression by slamming on the water, resulting in a 40 feet (12 meter) high splash. The Costa Rican South Pacific is considered some of the world’s best whale watching spots. The best time to experience this feast is July, August, September and October.
