Safari Float (kayak or raft) - Tour Description
Before you board the rubber raft or your own open kayak, your certified river guide will instruct you on safety procedures. Then off you go, floating down and occasionally paddling to manage gentle rapids. As you cruise down your guide will point out wildlife and share with you information about the ecosystem and its inhabitants you are surrounded with. Depending on your wishes, location and availability, we either float down the Peñas Blancas or the Caño Negro. Both marvelous, peaceful and gentle rivers full of wildlife. Be sure to bring you binocular and cameras!

Additional info - A perfect harmony of nature, adventure and fun!
What better way to spend a day (with the entire family) than spotting wildlife while cruising down a gentle river on an inflatable raft? Feeling the sun and breeze and appreciating a lowland tropical river with its lush riverside forest teeming with exotic birds (e.g. roseate spoonbill, boat billed heron, slaty-tailed trogon, osprey etc.), Jesus Christ lizards, giant iguanas and chattering monkeys hanging upside-down by their tails.
A Safari float is perfect for naturalists and/or those always wanted to experience the joys of white water rafting, but in a much more tame and manageable manner. The waters are not rough, but there are rapids and you have to paddle as a team to manage them.
This is a great adventure for anyone, especially to be enjoyed by young children or anyone else that does not mind getting tanned and doing a bit of paddling. So get into your rafting gear, enjoy observing the wildlife and paddling down exciting class II rapids.
