Afterwards your guide will take you to Ecotermales hot springs or Tabacon thermal baths where you will be enjoying a delicious dinner.

First off, your guide will explain everything about the Arenal Volcano, its eruptions and contributions to development of La Fortuna. The hike will submerge you into a primary Tropical Rain forest, where you will spend about 1 ½ hour exploring the Silencio Trail, which faces the majestic Arenal Volcano. At dark, after visiting the trail, continue to the observation point to enjoy a beverage and listen to the incredible sounds. Listen to a variety of frogs, toucans, and insects and watch thousands of fireflies. After the volcano worship, continue on with a refreshing three-hour thermal hot springs visit. DAY 4 | AERIAL TRAM, CANOPY ZIP LINES & BEACH TIME!

This early morning you will experience a full nature & adventure combo of the Sky Tram & Sky Trek. Upon arriving to the location, the adventure starts in the reception where you will board the slow paced gondolas and ride smoothly through the jungle to reach the top of the Arenal reserve.

Then, when you’re seeking for action, gear up and zip your way along the fast moving canopy tour zip lines. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables with a total length of 2.8 Km (1.7 miles). You will be flying over the highest tree tops, providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake.

After this tour, you will be taken back to your hotel to check out. Your private transportation is waiting for you to bring you to Manual Antonio on the Pacific coast. It is home to many of the nicest resorts in Costa Rica and also a multitude of restaurants. It has some of the most beautiful views and is home to the most visited national park. DAY 5 | BEACH, MONKEYS, POOLS & COCKTAILS | REST, RELAX, RETREAT!

This day has been designated as your beach day. We suggest you visit the town, swim and relax at the beach. For the early birds we recommend you visit Manuel Antonio National Park. Please let us know if you like us to include a guided hiking tour with round trip transfer.

Information on Manuel Antonio National Park: The most visited National Park in Costa Rica has three beautiful white sand beaches, trees such as black locust (an endangered timber-yielding tree), Balsa trees, Monkey Comb, Bastard Cedar, wild Plantain, Manhandle (a tree that oozes a milky substance and bears poison fruit) and Mayflower. There are more than one hundred mammal species and one hundred and eighty species of birds here, including the rare White Ibis. Squirrel monkeys (another endangered species) play on the trees above the trails of the park. Here, too, you can spot Two-toed Sloths, Raccoons, White-nosed Coatis, Howler Monkeys, White-faced Monkeys, and Squirrels.

DAY 6 | WHITE WATER RAFTING ON THE SAVEGRE RIVER

Be ready to take an awesome rafting tour on the Class III & IV Section of the Savegre River. Starting with a 4×4 ride into the “wilds” of Costa Rica’s tropical jungle with breathtaking scenery of more remote areas of the Savegre, your journey begins at ‘Silencio’. In this little village we’ll first stop for a typical Tico breakfast before the action starts!

The Savegre River provides Class II, III and some IV rapids that are manageable in sturdy rafts that accommodate 2 to 6 people comfortably. Your guides stop at locally known swimming spots and breathtaking waterfalls, and there is always time to enjoy the abundant variety of wildlife along the river. On most trips, rafters will observe egrets, osprey, toucans, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected area of the tropical rain forest.

After a steady 21Km (13 mile) trip down the river, we wind our way back to ‘Silencio’ where a gladly awaited hot “Tico Style” lunch and local refreshments are waiting. After lunch, you will be brought back to your hotel.

DAY 7 | COASTAL SEA KAYAKING ALONG THE JUNGLE

Experience one of Costa Rica’s most striking coastlines and National Park – by open-seat ocean kayak. The adventure begins near the developing Pez Vela (Sail Fish) Marina in Quepos and winds along the Manuel Antonio coastline.

Indulge yourselves at a rare jewel of a beach – a hidden Manuel Antonio treasure at Biezans Bay – for a refreshing swim and delicious local snacks. Ask your bilingual naturalist guide to direct you to the best snorkeling spots where you’ll encounter three small but growing active, and astounding coral reef systems nestled very close to the shore of Biezans Bay. After an unforgettable experience at Biezans, continue kayaking – if you choose to do so – towards Manuel Antonio National Park and wonder at the nearby nesting islands where exotic boobies and frigates call home year round.

Finally you’ll end your adventure with a typical Costa Rican flavored dish near the beach at a local Manuel Antonio hot spot before you return to your Costa Rican residence.
